Big Democrat goings on with Sanders gaining on Hillary and they are both out and about. George Clooney’s wife makes an appearance on behalf of….the Maldives? Lots of snark, gossip and political commentary.

Chris Wallace had a rather cantankerous interview with Ted Cruz, cantankerous enough that it made me pause and take note.
I don’t have specifics to point out except Ted Cruz kept admonishing Wallace to “let me answer the question” only Cruz wasn’t answering to Wallace’s approval.
I consider Chris Wallace a fair interviewer, yes I do. And he’s quite capable of being insistent when he thinks required. And I’ve been hearing so much gossip about how Cruz is so disliked in the senate and today I saw a bit of that.
Now Cruz is good with it, yes he is. He’s firm and insistent that he get his way but he thinks his way is the right way. Well don’t we all?
It’s getting to the point where the country is at an even divide; there is little room for movement right and left no matter how much the GOP elite tells us that we must reach across the aisle. There are times when that aisle cannot, and should not, be reached across.
Suppose we are to discuss the proper way to rid our lives of our elderly parents? We begin by arguing the correct age although you should how absurd such an argument is. Of course it is. But it’s a perfect example of aisles that shouldn’t be crossed.
America needs, now….maybe not forever, but America needs the leader who insists on having it his or her way, with the force of the people behind this individual.
Nice just isn’t cutting it is what I’m saying here.
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan was a guest on this show and he was good, I’m going to watch how he grows.
Anyway, Ryan denied that Nikki Haley’s rebuttal was about Trump and I got yet another bridge to sell cheap. Yon reader might know that South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, a darling and upcomer in the Republican party, delivered the response to Obama’s State of the Union speech excoriating those with the “loud voices”.
Heh. Which would be Trump.
NBC’s- Meet the Press
So Hillary denied that Iran was a problem in the world then launched into a litany of bad things Iran was doing, from fomenting unrest in the region to capturing Americans.
I sat and listened to that woman and wondered how she manages to get her clothes on in the morning. Absolutely ever answer that comes out of her mouth is a lie and she is so used to it she doesn’t know she’s lying.
And it’s not that she’s opposition to my current party of choice, goodness, there are plenty of “acceptable” Democrats, if you stretch the limits. Hillary is simply not one of them. Let us not forget that Biden is making grumbles about his “regrets”.
Hillary’s in trouble, yes she is.
We had George Clooney’s wife, Amal, pleading for U.S. intervention against ISIS in the….where? The Maldives!
Yes, I read books. I know the Maldives is some kind of world famous resort.
First, Amal Clooney is, indeed, one gorgeous woman.
Second, I’m not at all sure what she wanted America to do about ISIS flogging women across the from the shore but hey, it was interesting.
CBS’ Face the Nation
I can only mention that of all the frantic interviews of both Hillary and Bernie Sanders on the day of this writing when the evening will bring about a debate between these two, this one of Bernie was the most interesting.
Though I still don’t remember a thing that Bernie said except that Chelsea Clinton was very smart and talented young women.
We saw a good compilation of the confrontation of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump on this show although it was the same old, same old.
Supposedly Ted and Donald are on the outs, with Donald accusing of Ted of being ineligible to presidency and Ted accusing Donald of being low class.
I don’t believe any of this for a minute, more on this later.

ABC’s This Week
Another Hillary/Sanders repeat of boredom and lies. Also Donald, whose hair still looks awful.
CNN’s State of the Union
Hillary was asked about the movie “13 Hours”, which yon reader might know is allegedly the true story of what happened in Benghazi, Libya.
It was on THIS show that Hillary was asked what she thought of that movie and at times, folks, Hillary was good.
She didn’t criticize the movie, she cast no aspersions. She simply changed the subject to how wonderful she was going to make America and Jake Tapper let it go.
Another interesting tidbit….Tapper asked Hillary if she was yet to be interviewed by the FBI.
She said she has not.
Hmmmmm. Rumors all around are that the FBI is on this, up to a confrontation with Loretta Lynch if need be. And yet the FBI has as of yet to talk to her?
If her lips are moving, ….you know the rest.
I do live around some liberal types here in the swamps of Delaware. They are mostly nice folk, with good intentions, bad actions.
And I note that many of these people in my surround-and this is very admittedly what they call anecdotal evidence-are having difficulty with their candidate Hillary.
When I talk with them, which isn’t too often as one might imagine, I cluck and ooooh, Lord it must be difficult to choose between Hillary and Bernie. For every human being walking the earth considers Hillary basically a dishonest person, come on, we are not ALL born at night, last night.
And while many of us, very many of the Democrats amongst us, are a bit forgiving of dishonesty in politicians in that it’s part of the job….Hillary, I suspect, has just passed the limit.
Soon we will re-hear all about Monica and Bill Clinton’s many assaults upon women. There’s the flippant attitude about the emails and like I whisper softly to my liberal friends, “please, no matter how much you think Donald Trump a clown, he never let four Americans die when they could have been saved.”
Sometimes with watery eyes they nod affirmative.
And now the movie is out and if anything is going to damage Hillary, it’s “13 Hours”.
I do not respond to comments on my posts. I certainly have no problem with such commentary and, indeed, encourage it. But I’ve written my piece and I don’t want to argue it further.
