But of course it was all about Romney and that bit of nastiness he engaged in recently. Also TWO truths to hold close to the vest about this upcoming election that yon reader might need to know.
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Radio host Rush Limbaugh; 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Romney.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus ; Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz; Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton..
THIS WEEK (ABC): Republican presidential candidate John Kasich; Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders; Priebus.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio; Sanders; Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas; Romney.
Fox News Sunday
The big “get” for this show was none other than the masterful Rush Limbaugh.
And, of course, Rush got it all right. He emphasized that if any of the elected Ruling class should try to bring down the legal nominee it would cause discontent and rebellion amongst the troops.
I’d written a post about Mitt Romney’s class-less attack against the leading candidate for the nomination HERE.
This little bit of nastiness by Mitt Romney, the GOP’s most recent nominee for the presidency in 2012, was a shocker. Romney came out guns blazing, berating Trump with a viciousness that was totally out of line.
Limbaugh explained the problem with this tactic very well to Chris Wallace.
Does the establishment think that the base voters are going to drop everything and ponder Mitt Romney’s wise words? Do they think that the base is going to forget all that they’d been thinking and bow to the wisdom of the elders?
Makes me sick, those establishment sycophants.
NBC’s- Meet the Press
Mitt Romney made an appearance on this show, as he did on several others for his classless tirade against Donald Trump.
He ain’t backing down. Donald Trump is an asshole, he lies about his money, he must be stopped…ALL YOU IDIOTS VOTING FOR HIM NEED TO CUT IT OUT!
This from a loser.
CBS’ Face the Nation
Hillary Clinton made an appearance on this show and she’s full of herself.
She says her email issue is no big deal…IT’S NO BIG DEAL DAMMIT….LEAVE ME ALONE!
Folks, to all those pundits out there speculating that Hillary’s going to be stopped by this email scandal….stop your dreaming.
Loretta Lynch is Hillary’s Arkansas buddy from way back.
And Hillary could decapitate a basket full of kittens on national tv and get away with it.
Write this down, you heard it here first.
Political Cartoon of the Week
ABC’s This Week
George Stephanopoulos had Reince Priebus on and this was interesting.
Because Romney, in that classless rant he did against Trump, hinted at the need for Kasich to win Ohio and Rubio to win Florida. Thus Trump might not get the required number of delegates to clinch the nomination by the time of the GOP convention.
It was Priebus’ job to assure us peasants getting all uppity about the notion that the national party is going to steal our nominee, assured us that this is “not likely” to happen.
Folks, these people do not want Donald Trump to be the nominee and don’t believe this bit about playing nice-nice.
No other primary candidate got on national TV and talked nasty about Mitt Romney when he was running now did they?
So if that happened, almost unbelievable an action that the told us NOT to do given by a guy that once seemed like such a classy guy.
Believe that they WILL steal that convention because, write this down and as I predict….THEY WILL NOT ALLOW TRUMP TO BE THE NOMINEE.
I am NOT a Trump devotee. My guy is Ted Cruz. Who, by the way, I believe is eventually get that Republican nomination.
Sure the GOPe types don’t like Cruz but they might take him over Trump.
Whatever crimes Trump might have done that has Romney so upset…HE DID NOT LET FOUR AMERICANS DIE ALONE AND FIGHTING ON A ROOF TOP IN BENGHAZI!!!
Somebody tell Romney this, maybe he doesn’t know.
I do not respond to comments on my posts. I certainly have no problem with such commentary and, indeed, encourage it. But I’ve written my piece and I don’t want to argue it further.
