A real cat fight on one Sunday political talk show. And the meme of the day challenges Hillary more than she can likely handle.
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Gov. Pat McCrory, R-N.C.; Donald Trump adviser Paul Manafort.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump; Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton; Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union; Russell Moore, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Trump.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska.
Sharyl Attkisson’s Full Measure Unauthorized minors crossing the U.S. southern border with Mexico are now facing dangers in America worse than those they fled. Full Measure investigates.
It was Hillary with the women, Trump vs. Paul Ryan and a real Flake shows up on the scene. The talking points were strong and determined.
Let us discuss.
Donald Trump is driving them nuts and I rather like it.
First, there’s Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House, who flat out said he was not ready to endorse the proposed nominee, Donald Trump. At least just yet.
Ryan did appear on a couple of shows and the gist of his argument is essentially that Trump needs to stop that talk about the Wall and prohibiting Muslims until the immigration mess is straightened out.
But of course we can’t have such as common sense controlling our lives; common sense that would have us holding off on inviting those who want to kill us inside….where did we learn such rude behavior.
On Meet the Press we had Jeff Flake, one of the original so-called “Gang of Eight”, but of course this jerk has to come out and tell us that this person who we the people want is not good enough. Not that many of us want Jeff Flake and his massive amnesty plan which drove us all nuts.
As an aside, there was an interesting contretemps between pundit Andrea Mitchell and guest pundit Kelly somebody, a Republican pundit.
Kelly is, of course, defending Trump, while Andrea Mitchell, supposed to be impartial, jumped ugly on Kelly, telling her that Trump only appeals to the celebrities among us.
Or something. Lord Andrea looked ugly during that argument.
Face the Nation’s John Dickerson had an interview with Hillary and Lord but that woman is dull. I don’t recall any discussion of Trump’s assertion that Bill Clinton, with help of enabler Hillary herself, was meaner to woman than he (Trump) ever was.
Hmmmmm. Hillary sure doesn’t want to talk about that but with a little help from The Donald we might force Hillary to discuss the women, Benghazi, maybe even her damn email.
On Fox News Sunday we had Paul Ryan, asserting that perhaps he and Donald will repair their gaps in campaign planning but all over the dial Sunday was The Donald, declaring that he’s going to do what he has to do.
Mike Wallace of Fox News Sunday asked one of the more interesting, indeed stupidest, questions of the day of the Trump campaign manager, Manifort..
A question I will answer for Manifort because he cruised over the REAL answer.
Political Cartoon of the Week
I do not respond to comments on my posts. I certainly have no problem with such commentary and, indeed, encourage it. But I’ve written my piece and I don’t want to argue it further.

On CNN’s Late Edition we had a real surprise in the form of Sarah Palin AND John McCain as guest.
Palin said she will support Trump until the end. She had enthusiasm and one knew that she was in it to win it.
Meanwhile McCain is running for re-election in Arizona and he’s desperately trying to bridge the gap between his own elected elite self and the base which considers him the enemy.
So let’s answer Mike Wallace’s question of just what Hillary did to those women all accusing Bill Clinton like so many women accused Bill Cosby.
Only Cosby’s accusers got believed and a day in court. Clinton’s accusers had the “bimbo squad” which is really what they called it. Headed by James Carville it was and the purpose of this squad was to demonize woman such as….let’s see….there’s Paula Jones, Juanita Broderick (who claimed that Bill Clinton raped her), Kathleen Willey and, of course, Monica Lewinsky.
And dear Lord Hillary’s got enough nerve to attack Trump’s record with women. I have not heard a woman one accuse Trump of anything untoward, much less of rape.
Whatever you think of Donald Trump, the man is not going to let this awful Hillary person get away with villifying women HER HUSBAND attacked.
And please let’s not forget those four Americans she left to die in an isolated outpost in Benghazi.
You can be sure that Donald Trump won’t.
NEXT : Lots of interviews coming up to include a wannabe Governor, three or four shooting for Sussex county seats and one running for Delaware’s only seat in America’s House.
